Welcome Neighbors, SSC209

Oh, Hi everyone! Sorry to be missing for a whole week. Just been goofing off and not doing much of anything.

Today I'm sharing a card that I made to welcome some new neighbors that have moved in two houses up from us! Hope they are nice and friendly! I used a sketch layout that I found over at Stamping411, it sure makes it alot easier to make a card much faster when you have a layout to follow. Now I found that the measurements for layer 3 had to be tweak just a bit, so make sure you lay out your layers first to make sure you have some space in between them.

Card Recipe:
Stamp set- Good Neighbor (SAB-retired)
card stock- So Saffron, Mellow Moss (retired) and Welcome Neighbor dsp (SAB-retired)
Ink- Old Olive and Crumb Cake
Markers- Real Red and Early Espresso (used black to write in "Welcome")
punches- scallop and 1 3/4" circle

Thanks for dropping in to see my creation today, hope you have a crafty one..............Mary

Ice Cream Bar Card

Well in a couple of days it will be my dad's birthday. It is so hard for me to find cards for men, as I don't like to buy stamps that after making one card with you can't use again, meaning, you can't keep using the same one for all future cards for the same person. Does that make sense? Anyway, one day I was blog surfing and came across this cute little card at Polka dot and Paper. She actually had two ice cream bar cards on it and I decided to make this one. Of course, after I had the card all put together, noticed that I forgot to emboss the ice cream bar, but that's OK. Once you figure out how big to make your bar, it goes together very quickly!

Card Recipe:
Ink-Early Espresso
Stamp set-Bring on the Cake
Card stock-Whisper White, Early Espresso and Mellow Moss (retired)
corner rounder
scallop circle and word window punches
dimensional
All products are Stampin' Up!

Thanks for stoppin by to see me, I appreciate any or all comments.....................Mary

Happy Father's Day, Dad

Happy Father's day to all the dad's out there, a day early! Hope you all have a relaxing, fun day with your family.

Here is the card that I made to give to my dad tomorrow. He loves dogs, so this is perfect for him! I will add a gift card of some kind for him to enjoy.

I used all Stampin! Up products. I lightly sponged the background so that the images didn't look like they were floating in the air. I even stamped the dog on the envelope too.

Ink; Baja Breeze, black, creamy caramel, chocolate chip, close to cocoa, real red, brilliant blue, certainly celery and bashful blue
Stamp sets; Friends Fur-ever, Sanded and Teeny Tiny Wishes

Postage Stamp Thank You Notes

Hi to all of you! Sorry to be gone for so long but was very busy with the garage sale, which turned out to be a very big success, especially for the oldest daughter, she sold over $400 worth of clothing!! We got rid of alot of other items too, so we all were very happy and will be doing another one when our home associations has it in September.

Here are some more thank you notes that I did for the daughter, this time with the colors done differently. She wants black, white and pink so that is the colors I will stick with for her. I used all Stampin! Up products. After seeing them in the picture, it looks like I needed to take more time to put my pearls on straighter, next time I will be more careful!

Card stock- Whisper White, Black, and Pretty In Pink
Ink-Pretty In Pink
punches- Postage Stamp and Decorative edge
Stamp set- Pretty Postage and Easter Blossoms
pearl

Thanks for dropping by to see me, hope you have a crafty day..............Mary

Just Believe

Hi everyone, hope you all had a relaxing Memorial week-end! We were busy trimming bushes and what not around the house, but glad to get a good start on it before the real heat of summer sets in! Oh, and we didn't get any poison ivy either, big plus for hubby!

This is another RAK card for a lady who takes care of elderly people and she hurt her neck, hope she has a fast recovery!

I used all Stampin' Up! products. I stamped the image, sponged the background and just wasn't too happy with the results, so I ran it thru the square lattice embossing folder and I think that added some interest to it. I probably could have added some pearls too (if I had thought of it).

Ink- Pear Pizzazz, black & Marina Mist
Card stock- Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz & Marina Mist
Seam binding- Marina Mist
punch- Decorative label

Thanks for droppin by to see my latest creation, I appreciate it.............Mary
